OVERLAND PARK, KS – March 5, 2014 – LightEdge Solutions is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with the Northland Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) in Kansas City, MO. This program will allow a student from the program to gain experience working with a member of the LightEdge team assisting and learning through meaningful projects.
LightEdge Solutions is excited to join the list of partners for the Northland CAPS program for the 2014-2015 school year. The program is revolutionizing high school education through a profession-based education model that serves junior and senior students in six northland districts. The program is designed to provide these students with the skills needed to succeed in the competitive college environment and global workforce. The program currently focuses on Technology Solutions and Engineering/Advanced Manufacturing but will be adding Medicine and Healthcare, and Global Business and Entrepreneurship strands this fall.
