In February 2026, Lightedge hosted its annual Sales Kickoff (SKO) in sunny Orlando, Florida, bringing together the Executive Leadership Team, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, along with key partners and customers.
From strategy sessions to tech alliance panels (and yes, a little Disney magic), SKO 2026 was centered around one clear theme: Taking Flight. Lightedge used this theme to rally its team and show it’s ready for takeoff, using it as a guiding force for how its teams win, together, in the year ahead.
From Momentum to Intentional Growth
Coming off a record-breaking year, our focus isn’t incremental progress; it’s intentional acceleration.
As Dan Cronin, Channel Account Manager, shared during the week, “We’re not just participating in the channel; we’re building around it. The next phase of growth isn’t incremental, it’s intentional.”
That intentional growth is built on three pillars:
- Deeper partner alignment
- Stronger enablement
- Faster execution
We’re investing in the relationships, infrastructure, and field support that allow our partners and our customers to scale with confidence. Our Technical Solutions Directors (TSDs) are backed by real engineering depth, operational excellence, and enterprise-grade infrastructure behind every conversation.
For our clients, this means more than vision. It means execution.
Customer Outcomes First
Across leadership presentations, customer panels, and live messaging competitions, one theme was unmistakable: We know who we are. We know how we win. We win by focusing on outcomes.
As hybrid cloud environments grow more complex, spanning colocation, private cloud, VMware, IBM, hyperscalers like AWS, and layered security solutions, organizations need more than a vendor. They need a partner who can design, deploy, manage, and optimize across the full stack.
Lightedge’s position in the market is clear:
- Enterprise-focused, infrastructure-led support
- Deep expertise in complex, regulated, and high-performance environments
- Scalable solutions that also support the needs of SMB organizations
- A unified approach across cloud, colocation, security, and managed services
We’re not a hyperscaler. We’re not a point solution.
We are the infrastructure partner that brings it all together.
Why Hybrid Cloud Is Our Superpower
Hybrid cloud is no longer a trend; it’s the operating model of modern IT.
At SKO, we doubled down on our hybrid cloud strategy because we see what our customers are facing:
- AI and high-performance workload demands
- Rising costs and operational complexity
- Security and compliance pressures
- Increased data gravity
Hybrid cloud allows organizations to:
- Place workloads where they perform best
- Optimize cost without sacrificing control
- Modernize legacy infrastructure at a sustainable pace
- Integrate private and public cloud environments seamlessly
- Improve resilience and disaster recovery strategies
Lightedge’s advantage is our ability to architect across environments, not just host them.

Our Technology Superpowers
Our partner ecosystem is a force multiplier. During our Tech Alliances Panel, we were proud to collaborate with Broadcom, Dell Technologies, Arctic Wolf, IBM, ServiceNow, and more, aligning on how we co-sell and co-deliver differentiated value.
Here’s how that translates to real-world impact:
IBM Private Cloud Power
For mission-critical workloads, especially in regulated industries, IBM Power Systems and IBM Private Cloud deliver unmatched reliability, performance, and security. Lightedge brings deep operational expertise to modernize and manage these environments while integrating them into broader hybrid architectures.
VMware Expertise
With VMware powering many private cloud strategies, our teams are equipped to help clients navigate modernization, licensing changes, optimization, and secure multi-cloud extensions, ensuring continuity and flexibility. Broadcom’s overhaul of the VMware partner ecosystem last year left many IT leaders questioning what comes next for their virtualization strategy.
Amid the changes to its VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) program, Lightedge remained one of approximately 100 official VCSP partners worldwide—a clear signal of our technical maturity and operational capability in a reshaped VMware delivery model.
AWS & Hyperscaler Support
Public cloud isn’t one-size-fits-all. We help customers:
- Architect AWS environments correctly from the start
- Integrate AWS into hybrid environments seamlessly
- Improve governance and security posture
- Control sprawl and optimize costs
Colocation + Hybrid Integration
Our enterprise-grade data centers provide the performance, compliance, and connectivity foundation that hybrid cloud depends on. Colocation remains a strategic anchor — especially for latency-sensitive and high-performance workloads.
Hybrid cloud isn’t about choosing sides. It’s about building the right mix.

Alignment Is Our Competitive Advantage
One of the most powerful takeaways from SKO wasn’t just strategy. There was clear alignment across sales, operations, product, and leadership. Operational excellence initiatives, continued data center investments, and expanded enablement programs ensure that when our sales teams engage and achieve, they are backed by real infrastructure and real delivery muscle.
That alignment translates directly to client benefit:
- Faster solution design
- Stronger ongoing support
- Better long-term outcomes
Partnership Is Power
Our partners showed up with intention, and so did our customers.
Hearing customers share candid feedback on what’s working and where more value can be created sharpened us. Transparency builds better solutions. Collaboration builds better outcomes.
As one of our alliance leaders said during the week, “From hyperscalers to hyperspace, the future of our partnerships is strong.”

We balanced this collaboration and work with team building and bonding at Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs because strong relationships are built both inside and outside the conference room.
What This Means for Our Clients
SKO 2026 wasn’t just about internal alignment. It was about how we can serve you better.
You can expect from Lightedge in 2026:
- A stronger hybrid cloud strategy with deeper technical bench strength
- Expanded partner integration across IBM, VMware, AWS, Dell, and more
- Enterprise-level infrastructure and support with flexibility for SMB needs
- Faster execution and better enablement across the entire customer journey
- Continued investment in security, resilience, and operational excellence
We are building around the channel. We are investing in infrastructure. We are scaling with intention.
