HITRUST, short for Healthcare Information Trust Alliance, establishes a Common Security Framework (CSF) that incorporates the requirements of HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO and NIST, creating a baseline that guarantees HIPAA compliance and security. LightEdge is one of an elite few cloud and colocation providers to provide the HITRUST Inheritance Program.
The HITRUST Inheritance Program allows LightEdge to transfer their own relevant assessment scores to any client’s assessment. The program also allows regulated clients to inherit LightEdge’s controls for their own assessments, saving time, resources, and ultimately adding peace of mind that the client will attain the certification themselves.
